The Accounts Executive will manage day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, vendor and marketplace reconciliations, and VAT compliance across two operating entities. The role requires hands-on ownership of Zoho Books/Inventory records, close coordination with marketplace and vendor teams, and accurate, timely financial reporting to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & Reporting
Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping in Zoho Books , including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and ledger accuracy.
Prepare monthly management accounts (P&L;, balance sheet, cash flow) and flag variances for owner review.
Maintain accurate fixed asset and inventory valuation records in coordination with the operations team.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
Process vendor invoices, match against purchase orders, and manage timely payment runs.
Track customer/marketplace receivables and follow up on overdue payments, including PO-level and SOA-level reconciliations with B2B vendors.
Investigate and resolve invoice, remittance,
and payment discrepancies with vendors and marketplace partners.
Marketplace & E-commerce Reconciliation
Reconcile marketplace settlement reports (Noon, Amazon, and similar platforms) against Zoho and Shopify records, including commission, storage fee, and RTV (return-to-vendor) discrepancies.
Support dispute resolution on incorrect fees, price parity issues, or commission model changes raised with marketplace partners.
Reconcile Shopify order and payout data (BYFT Store and sub-brands) with accounting records.
Tax & Compliance
Prepare and file UAE VAT returns accurately and on time.
Manage UAE Corporate Tax computations, filings, and compliance requirements.
Handle GST-related compliance and filings where applicable to cross-border or vendor transactions.
Manage Qualified Tax compliance and filings where applicable.
