Job Summary

The Assistant Team Leader / Team Leader – Computer Vision Annotation Operations is responsible for managing daily annotation operations, ensuring delivery performance, maintaining quality standards, and driving team productivity across Computer Vision annotation workflows. The role involves workflow management, people management, SLA adherence, and operational governance for image and video annotation projects.

Team Leaders additionally own end-to-end team performance, stakeholder coordination, escalation handling, and operational improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities
Manage and monitor daily annotation operations and workflow queues
Ensure achievement of productivity, quality, and SLA targets
Allocate tasks and manage workload distribution effectively
Monitor annotation throughput, utilization, and delivery timelines
Ensure adherence to annotation guidelines, SOPs, and quality standards
Coordinate with Quality teams and SMEs for issue resolution and process alignment
Support onboarding, training,



and ramp-up activities for recent team members
Track performance metrics and publish operational updates
Identify operational risks, delays, and bottlenecks and escalate appropriately
Provide coaching, feedback, and performance management support
Handle escalations and support resolution of complex annotation cases
Drive process discipline, operational efficiency, and workflow improvements
Team Leaders additionally:
Own end-to-end delivery performance
Participate in stakeholder/client discussions
Support hiring and workforce planning
Drive team engagement and attrition management

People Management & Team Development
Manage day-to-day performance of team members and ensure achievement of individual and team goals.
Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
Identify performance gaps and create improvement plans for low performers.
