Position: Billing Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an experienced Billing Engineer to join our team and support residential and commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction billing, reconciliation, and cost analysis, with proficiency in up-to-date construction methods. This role requires active coordination with site teams to ensure accurate billing, productive project management, and financial transparency.

Key Responsibilities:
• Bills Certification: Verify contractor RA/Final bills against BOQ, drawings, measurements, and work order terms.
• BBS Checking: Review and validate Bar Bending Schedules for accuracy and quantity correctness.
• Budget Tracking: Monitor project cost vs. approved budget; track committed vs. actual cost and highlight deviations.
• Work Order Study & Tracking: Understand scope, rates, inclusions/exclusions,



escalation clauses; track compliance and scope changes.
• Site Progress Checking: Conduct site visits, verify physical progress, compare actual vs. planned, and document with photos/measurements.
• Escalation & Quantity Variations: Track rate escalations, quantity deviations, and maintain variation/change order registers.
• Schedule Tracking: Update project schedule, track milestone progress vs. baseline, identify delays, and prepare lookahead schedules.

Qualification & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BE. Civil). Diploma holders may not apply

• Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in billing and estimation processes.

• Handson knowledge in MS Excel and AutoCad.
