Job Summary

Responsible for the mechanical assembly, fitting, alignment, testing, installation and commissioning of Special Purpose Machines (SPM) as per engineering drawings and quality standards. Hands-on experience with machine components, precision fitting and pneumatic systems is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Assemble SPM machines, fixtures and mechanical sub-assemblies as per engineering drawings.
Read and understand 2D mechanical drawings, assembly drawings and BOMs.
Perform mechanical fitting, drilling, tapping and machine alignment.
Assemble linear guides, ball screws, bearings, shafts, gearboxes, motors and cylinders.
Install and connect pneumatic components such as cylinders, FRL units, valves, fittings and tubing.
Perform machine leveling, alignment, clearance and dimensional checks.
Use Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Dial Gauge,



Height Gauge and other measuring instruments.
Support machine trial runs, debugging and troubleshooting.
Assist in machine installation and commissioning at customer sites when required.
Coordinate with Design, Electrical, PLC and Production teams during machine assembly.
Identify mechanical problems during machine trials and support corrective actions.
Maintain proper tools, equipment and assembly work area.
Follow company quality, safety and housekeeping standards.
