Role & responsibilities
Provide consultation, clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to patients.
Examine patients and evaluate medical history, symptoms, and clinical conditions.
Prescribe appropriate medication and treatment in accordance with established medical standards.
Manage common acute and chronic medical conditions.
Provide first aid and emergency medical assistance when required.
Identify cases requiring specialist consultation or referral and coordinate appropriately.
Monitor patients and maintain proper medical records and documentation.
Advise patients on preventive healthcare, lifestyle, nutrition, and general wellness.
Ensure appropriate follow-up of patients and continuity of care.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information and medical records.
Coordinate with nursing, pharmacy, laboratory, and other healthcare personnel.
Support health check-up camps, medical awareness programmes, and preventive healthcare initiatives.
Maintain compliance with applicable medical, institutional, ethical, and safety standards.




Ensure proper maintenance and availability of essential medicines, medical supplies, and emergency equipment.
Perform any other medical or institutional responsibilities assigned by the competent authority.

Experience in handling medical emergencies.
Knowledge of preventive and community healthcare.
Good documentation and reporting skills.
Qualified, ethical, and patient-centric approach.
Ability to work independently as well as in a multidisciplinary team.

Ability to work effectively with patients, students, faculty, staff, and healthcare personnel.
