We are looking for a
hands-on technology leader
to take ownership of the architecture and engineering of a fast-moving, early-stage data platform, with a explicit path to CTO.

This is for someone who has led engineers but still wants to build. You will inherit an existing product, codebase and distributed engineering team, improve what works, simplify what does not, and create the technical foundation for scale.

Data and platform architecture
Data pipelines, ingestion and transformation
Databricks and contemporary data platforms
Python-based backend development
Data modelling and APIs
Cloud infrastructure and distributed systems
CI/CD, automated testing and deployment
Reliability, observability and security
Enterprise integrations
Technical leadership of engineers across multiple countries
Technical conversations with customers across the US, Europe and other markets

You will remain hands-on, including architecture, code reviews, debugging, prototyping and development when required.
