The Assistant Manager - Quality Management System role supports the implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) within a manufacturing workplace. The position plays a key part in conducting internal audits, analysing quality data, strengthening quality control (QC) practices, and fostering a solid quality culture across departments.

Responsibilities
Maintain a thorough understanding of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 requirements
Analyse quality data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement
Apply quality control methods, including the 7 QC tools and 8D problem-solving methodology
Plan and conduct internal audits in line with applicable quality standards
Apply an understanding of manufacturing processes to support quality management activities
Coordinate and communicate effectively with different departments on quality-related matters




Prepare reports and improvement proposals for top management
Provide leadership and contribute to fostering a solid quality culture across the organisation

Requirements
Bachelor of Technology or diploma in Mechanical Engineering
7 to 10 years of relevant experience
Experience working in the manufacturing industry, particularly within automotive manufacturing or press stamping
Practical knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, the 7 QC tools, and 8D problem-solving methodology
