About Business line/Function:
The AI Solutions division within Wealth Management IT drives the adoption of artificial intelligence across BNP Paribas Wealth Management. The AI for IT squad focuses specifically on leveraging Generative AI to increase the productivity and efficiency of IT teams. This includes developing AI-powered tools for code generation, test automation, documentation, intelligent workflows and IT process optimization. The squad's ambition is to transform how IT staff work by embedding AI into their daily tools and processes over the next 3 years. The team operates in an Agile setting across multiple geographies (Singapore, India, Switzerland, Paris…).

Position Purpose:
We are looking for a passionate and hands-on AI Engineer to join the AI for IT squad in Chennai. The primary mission is to design, develop and integrate Generative AI solutions that directly improve the productivity of IT staff across Wealth Management IT.



This includes building AI-powered assistants, code generation tools, intelligent automation workflows and AI-enhanced IT processes. The role sits at the intersection of AI engineering and IT delivery — the engineer will work closely with IT teams to understand their pain points and translate them into practical, production-grade AI solutions. The ideal candidate is a skilled engineer with solid GenAI knowledge and a genuine passion for emerging technologies. We are not looking for a pure researcher — we need someone who can build concrete AI tools that IT teams actually use every day. Prior experience deploying AI solutions in an enterprise workplace is a solid differentiator.
