Job Description: Accountant / Financial Reporting

About the Role

We are looking for a Finance & Accounting professional with 2- 3 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Ind AS, IGAAP, and core accounting principles, along with good analytical and reporting skills.

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
Support preparation of financial statements, management reports, and accounting schedules.
Ensure compliance with applicable Ind AS and IGAAP accounting standards and internal accounting policies.
Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy of financial records.
Support preparation and review of financial and management reports.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and auditors for accounting-related requirements and queries.




Assist in maintaining proper documentation and supporting schedules for audit and compliance purposes.
Identify prospects to improve accounting and reporting processes and drive process efficiency.
Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and applicable statutory requirements.

Desired Skills & Competencies
Robust knowledge of accounting principles, Ind AS and IGAAP.
Good understanding of financial reporting and accounting processes.
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Solid communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial/accounting systems.

Education & Experience
Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / CMA
Experience: 2- 3 years of relevant experience in Accounting, Financial Reporting, Ind AS, IGAAP, or related areas.
