Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging music lessons for students across assigned classes.
Teach vocal and/or instrumental music, including basic music theory, rhythm, notation, and performance techniques.
Develop students’ musical skills, creativity, confidence, and appreciation for music.
Prepare students for school assemblies, annual functions, competitions, cultural events, and other performances.
Organise and conduct music activities, rehearsals, choir groups, and instrumental ensembles.
Identify and nurture students with musical talent and provide appropriate guidance for their development.
Maintain discipline and ensure a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning workplace.
Collaborate with teachers and the school management for events and co-curricular activities.
Maintain and responsibly manage musical instruments and other music-related resources.
Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Music or a relevant discipline.




B.Ed. is preferred/mandatory as per school requirements.
Formal training in vocal or instrumental music from a recognised institution will be an added advantage.

Experience
2–3 years of relevant teaching experience preferred.
Experience in handling school performances, choir, cultural programmes, and competitions will be an advantage.

Skills & Competencies
Robust proficiency in vocal and/or instrumental music.
Positive communication and classroom management skills.
Ability to engage students of different age groups.
Creative, enthusiastic, and patient approach towards teaching.
Ability to work collaboratively and coordinate school events.
Knowledge of contemporary as well as Indian/classical music will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
