EDSS is hiring a Civil Draftsman with 1+ year of relevant experience to join our team in Kadavanthara, Kochi.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and modify 2D civil and structural drawings using AutoCAD.
Take accurate site measurements and assist with basic site surveying.
Prepare quantity estimates, BOQs and material take-offs.
Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
Coordinate with engineers and site teams.
Visit project sites for measurements and drawing verification.
Update drawings based on actual site conditions and project requirements.
Requirements:
Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering or relevant qualification.
1+ year of relevant experience.
Robust knowledge of AutoCAD is mandatory.
Knowledge of quantity estimation and BOQ preparation.
Basic knowledge of site surveying and measurements.
Positive communication and coordination skills.
Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
Candidates with solid practical knowledge of AutoCAD, estimation and site work are encouraged to apply.
