Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical CAD Design Engineer with strong expertise in SolidWorks to design and develop mechanical components, enclosures, assemblies, and structures for defense and anti-drone systems. The ideal candidate should have experience in product design, manufacturing drawings, and prototype development.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop 3D models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
Create mechanical designs for defense equipment, anti-drone systems, surveillance platforms, and related products.
Prepare BOMs, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
Design sheet metal parts, machined components, and fabricated structures.
Collaborate with Electronics, Embedded, RF, and Production teams for product integration.
Conduct design reviews and implement design improvements based on testing and feedback.
Support prototype development, assembly, testing, and validation activities.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards, GD&T; practices, and manufacturing requirements.




Coordinate with vendors and production teams for manufacturing feasibility and quality improvements.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
2–6 years of experience in Mechanical Design Engineering.
Robust proficiency in SolidWorks (Mandatory).
Valuable knowledge of sheet metal design, machining, fabrication, and manufacturing processes.
Experience in creating detailed manufacturing drawings and BOMs.
Understanding of GD&T; and engineering standards.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in defense, aerospace, UAV/drone, robotics, or electromechanical product development.
Familiarity with FEA/Simulation tools.
Knowledge of enclosure design for electronics and outdoor applications.
Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams.
