Role Overview The Dining Assistant Manager supports daily operations within the schools dining hall and food service department. This role ensures smooth meal service execution, high standards of food safety and hygiene, and excellent customer service for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
Daily Operations: Oversee daily meal setups, serving lines, and clearing processes across breakfast, lunch, and special school events.
Staff Supervision: Assist in scheduling, training, and guiding dining hall staff and kitchen helpers to maintain efficiency and discipline.
Quality & Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to food hygiene standards, kitchen sanitation, and safety protocols.
Inventory & Supplies: Help monitor food stock levels, keep track of tableware/utensils inventory, and coordinate regular supply replenishment.
Student & Staff Service: Maintain a friendly,



supportive workplace for students while promptly addressing special dietary queries or complaints.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Education: Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Catering, or related fields.
Experience: 2–4 years of experience in food service management, school/institutional catering, or hospitality.
Key Skills: Team supervision, knowledge of HACCP/food safety standards, robust communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
Attributes: Patient, student-friendly attitude with the capacity to handle high-volume rush hours effectively.
