nThe Placement Officer is responsible for facilitating campus placements, building corporate relationships, and enhancing student employability through structured training and industry engagement.
nKey Responsibilities
n1. Campus Placement Management

Coordinate and execute end-to-end placement activitiesn
Invite companies for campus recruitment drivesn
Schedule interviews, tests, and selection processesn
Ensure smooth conduct of placement drives (online/offline)n

n2. Corporate Relations
n
n
Develop and maintain relationships with HRs, recruiters, and industry leadersn
Identify current companies for placement prospectsn
Organize industry visits, guest lectures, and networking eventsn

n3. Student Training & Development
n

Identify skill gaps and arrange:n
Aptitude trainingn
Soft skills developmentn
Technical workshopsn
Prepare students for:n
Resume buildingn




Group discussionsn
Personal interviewsn

n4. Placement Strategy & Planning
n
n
Develop placement calendars and annual strategyn
Set placement targets (number of offers, companies, packages)n
Track and improve placement statistics year-on-yearn

n5. Data Management & Reporting
n
n
Maintain student databases (eligible, placed, offers)n
Generate reports on:n
Placement statusn
Company participationn
Salary trendsn
Coordinate with internal stakeholders (HR, Admin, Faculty)n

n6. Internship Management
n

Facilitate internship opportunities for studentsn
Track internship performance and conversion to full-time rolesn

n7. Compliance & Documentation

Ensure all placement-related documentation is maintainedn
Follow institutional policies and reporting standardsn
