Responsibilities
Technical Delivery
Prepare and review engineering designs, drawings, and reports in accordance with ME standards.
Ensure timely submission of deliverables that meet internal and client quality expectations.
Support technical governance by adhering to approved processes and design protocols.
Collaborate with senior engineers and technical leads to resolve design challenges.
Assist Senior Engineers with technical input and coordination across disciplines.
Collaboration & Communication
Liaise with ME-based teams to ensure alignment of design outputs and project goals.
Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders and clients.
Quality & Compliance
Follow WSP’s Business Management System and ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Quality Assurance standards.
Support audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
Team & Development
Work within a team of engineers and technicians, contributing to a team-oriented and inclusive culture.
Participate in training, mentoring, and career development initiatives.
Support junior staff and share technical knowledge across the team
Qualifications
Education & Accreditation
Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Working towards Chartered Engineer status (e.g., ICE, CIHT) is preferred.
Experience
5+ years of experience in highway design, preferably within the ME region.
Familiarity with ME design standards and project delivery practices.
Experience in using relevant design software and tools.
Proficiency in using Civil3D and ACC
Core Competencies
Solid technical understanding of highway engineering.

Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Additional Requirements
Willingness to travel to the ME region for short-term project support (2–3 months intervals).
Open to working across cultures and multidisciplinary teams.
