A Tender Executive manages the end-to-end process of identifying, preparing, and submitting bids (tenders) for business prospects, involving analyzing requirements, coordinating internal teams, compiling documents, ensuring compliance, meeting strict deadlines, and post-submission follow-ups, often focusing on government or large corporate contracts. They bridge sales, technical, and commercial departments to create competitive proposals and maintain client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Tender Identification: Monitoring online portals (like GeM, CPPP) and other sources for relevant tender opportunities.
Document Analysis: Studying tender documents (RFPs, RFQs) to understand scope, technical, and financial criteria.
Bid Preparation: Compiling, preparing, and formatting all bid documents, including technical and financial proposals.
Coordination: Liaising with internal departments (sales, engineering, finance)
and external vendors for necessary information.
Compliance & Strategy: Ensuring all submissions meet requirements and developing competitive strategies.
Submission: Managing timelines and ensuring timely, compliant submission (often e-tendering).
Follow-up & Negotiation: Handling client queries, post-submission follow-ups, and assisting in contract finalization.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Prefer Science Background and female candidate
Bachelor's degree (Business, Procurement, Management).
Robust analytical, project management, and organizational skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Effective communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency with MS Office abd internet.
