An MEP Tender Engineer prepares cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and commercial bids for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems in construction and infrastructure projects and industrial projects.

• Tender Review: Analyze drawings, scopes, and specifications for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems.

• Cost Estimation: Conduct quantity take-offs and develop detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs).

• Vendor Coordination: Collect and compare quotes from subcontractors and equipment suppliers.

• Rate Analysis: Calculate direct and indirect project costs, margins, and value-engineering alternatives.

• Bid Submission: Prepare complete techno-commercial proposals before strict deadlines

• Education: B-tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

• Technical Knowledge: Robust command of HVAC, electrical HT/LT systems, plumbing, and fire protection.

• Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation platforms.

• Commercial Acumen: Understanding of contract types, market rates, and negotiation.
