HIRING A CULINARY BARISTA

We are hiring a Barista + Cook/Chef + All-Rounder for our Cafe/Kiosk, with a genuine interest in both food and coffee. We are looking for someone responsible with valuable ideas, a self-starter, and looking to grow.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The job involves prepping food, making coffee and drinks, handling billing, keeping track of stock, and assembling fresh food (all sauces, dips, and breads are made fresh in-house during quiet hours).
Brew espresso shots, steam milk, and prepare hot/cold coffees, teas, and speciality drinks according to standards. Knows how to operate an espresso machine and has basic knowledge of manual brews.
Support the kitchen with ingredient handling, food preparation and daily cafe operations.




Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workstations.
Greet customers, take orders, operate the POS/cash register, and handle payments.
Replenish supplies, monitor inventory, restock supplies (beans, dairy, cups), and alert management when stock is low.
Perform opening and closing duties as required.

SHIFTS:

Involves both morning and/or night shifts. 9-hour shift with a weekly off.
