Key Responsibilities
Perform incoming, in-process and final inspection of automotive components.
Inspect sheet-metal, tubular and welded components as per drawings and inspection standards.
Conduct dimensional inspection using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge and other measuring instruments.
Check visual defects, welding quality, dimensional accuracy and workmanship.
Identify and segregate OK/NG components and maintain proper identification.
Prepare and maintain inspection reports and quality records.
Support production teams in controlling rejection, rework and customer complaints.
Follow Control Plan, SOP, Work Instructions and Inspection Standards.
Support 5S, Kaizen and continuous quality improvement activities.
Escalate quality issues to the Quality Supervisor/Engineer.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures on the shop floor.
