Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Backend Developer role based in Bargarh. The Backend Developer will design, build, and maintain server-side applications and APIs that power the UJUR platform, ensuring performance, scalability, and security. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, testable code, integrating with databases and external services, troubleshooting and optimizing existing functionality, and collaborating with frontend developers, product managers, and QA engineers. The role also involves participating in code reviews, contributing to architectural decisions, and maintaining documentation for backend services.



The Backend Developer will work closely with the product and healthcare domain teams to translate business and clinical requirements into robust technical solutions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in at least one backend programming language or framework (e.g., Python) and experience building RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
- Candidates should possess skills in database design and management, including familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases and query optimization techniques.
- Candidates should possess skills in application architecture and scalability, including experience with microservices, modular design, and performance tuning.
- Candidates should possess skills in security and reliability practices, such as authentication/authorization, data protection, error handling, and logging/monitoring.
- Candidates should possess skills in version control and collaboration tools, including Git-based workflows and issue tracking systems.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), or CI/CD pipelines is beneficial.
- Relevant academic background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, clear written and verbal communication, and the capacity to work effectively in a cross-functional, healthcare-focused team are essential.
