Job DescriptionJob Description – PGT Commerce/n*Position: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – Commerce/n*Department: Academics/nJob Summary/nThe PGT Commerce Teacher is responsible for teaching Commerce subjects to senior secondary students (Classes XI & XII) in accordance with the CBSE curriculum. The teacher will create an engaging learning setting, foster conceptual understanding, and prepare students for board examinations and competitive opportunities./nKey Responsibilities/n* Teach Commerce subjects such as Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics (if assigned), and Entrepreneurship as per the CBSE curriculum./n* Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments./n* Deliver interactive and student-centric classroom sessions using modern teaching methodologies./n* Monitor and evaluate students' academic performance through regular tests, assignments, and examinations./n* Provide timely feedback and academic support to help students improve./n* Prepare students for CBSE Board Examinations and school assessments./n* Maintain accurate attendance records, progress reports, and academic documentation./n* Integrate technology and digital learning tools into classroom teaching./n* Participate in parent-teacher meetings, faculty meetings, workshops,



and school events./n* Mentor students and contribute to their overall academic and personal development./n* Ensure classroom discipline and maintain a positive learning environment./n* Perform additional academic or administrative duties assigned by the school management./nQualification/n* Master's Degree in Commerce (M.Com) from a recognized university./n* B.Ed. from a recognized institution./n* Strong knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and examination pattern./nExperience/n* Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school (preferred)./n* Experience teaching Classes XI & XII is desirable./nSkills Required/n* Excellent subject knowledge in Commerce./n* Strong communication and presentation skills./n* Effective classroom management abilities./n* Proficiency in MS Office, smart boards, and online teaching platforms./n* Student-centric teaching approach with strong mentoring skills./n* Good organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities./nPreferred Attributes/n* Passion for teaching and continuous learning./n* Ability to motivate and inspire students./n* Team player with a collaborative attitude./n* Professional ethics, punctuality, and commitment to academic excellence.
