1. Candidate Profile
We are looking for an experienced and clinically strong
Consultant Radiologist
to join Orbit Diagnostic Centre, Proddatur.
Essential Qualification
MD / DNB / DMRD in Radiodiagnosis from a recognized institution.
Valid medical registration.
Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in Radiology.
Strong competency in CT, MRI, X-ray and Mammography reporting.
Preferred Fellowship / Advanced Training
Preference will be given to candidates with fellowship, structured training or significant experience in oneor more of the following:
Cross-Sectional Imaging
Musculoskeletal (MSK) Imaging
Neuroimaging
Cardiac Imaging / Cardiac CT & MRI
desirable but not mandatory
Candidates capable of independently handling complex CT and MRI cases will be preferred.
2. Imaging Infrastructure
The radiologist will have access to advanced imaging infrastructure including:
3 Tesla MRI
128-Slice CT
Digital Mammography
Digital X-Ray
The candidate is expected to utilize the available technology effectively and maintain high standards ofimaging protocols, interpretation and reporting.

3. Clinical Responsibilities
The Consultant Radiologist will be responsible for:
Independent interpretation and reporting of MRI, CT, Mammography and X-ray examinations.
Providing clinically relevant, structured and high-quality radiology reports.
Reviewing imaging protocols and optimizing studies according to clinical indications.
Communicating significant, urgent and unexpected findings promptly to referring clinicians.
Discussing complex cases with referring doctors whenever required.
Maintaining appropriate reporting turnaround times.
Participating in peer discussions, clinical-radiological correlation and quality-improvement activities.
Maintaining professional and ethical standards in accordance with applicable medical regulations.
4. Communication & Patient Interaction
Strong communication skills are mandatory for this position.
The candidate should:
Communicate confidently and professionally with referring doctors.
Be approachable for case discussions and clinical consultations.
Explain relevant imaging findings/procedures to patients and attendants when required.
Maintain professional relationships with clinicians and hospital/diagnostic-centre stakeholders.
Demonstrate empathy and professionalism during patient interactions.
Candidates who prefer a purely workstation-based role with minimal clinician or patient interaction may notbe suitable for this position.
5. Academic & CME Responsibilities
The radiologist is expected to take an active role in the academic development of the centre.
Responsibilities include:
Proactively conducting
CMEs and clinical-radiology meetings
Presenting interesting and educational cases.
Participating in multidisciplinary discussions where appropriate.
Supporting educational initiatives for referring clinicians and healthcare professionals.
Keeping updated with advances in CT, MRI and subspecialty radiology.
6. Marketing & Professional Outreach
The Consultant Radiologist is expected to actively support the professional outreach activities.

This may include:
Participation in doctor engagement programs.
Clinical meetings with referring physicians.
CME programs and academic events.
Supporting the marketing team with appropriate clinical and technical inputs.
Building skilled relationships with referring doctors.
Representing Orbit Diagnostic Centre professionally at medical and academic events.
The radiologist will
not be expected to perform conventional sales activities
, but proactive participationin ethical doctor engagement and professional outreach is an important part of the role.
7. Compensation
Fixed Compensation
3.50 lakh per month base salary
Incentives
Additional
performance-linked incentives
will be provided over and above the fixed salary.
The incentive structure may be linked to mutually defined parameters such as productivity, reportingvolumes, additional workload and/or organizational performance.
Detailed incentive terms will be communicated during the final employment discussion.
Annual Escalation
On successful completion of the first-year contract and renewal for the second year:
10% escalation on the agreed fixed compensation
, subject to satisfactory performance and continuationof employment.
8. Accommodation / HRA
House Rental Allowance (HRA) / accommodation support will be provided
in addition to the agreedcompensation, as per company policy.
9. Leave & Weekly-Off Structure
The position includes:
2 Sundays off per month
2 additional leaves per month

Leave and weekly-off scheduling will be planned in advance in coordination with the centre to ensureuninterrupted radiology services.

Contractual Terms
Probation Period:
3 months
Performance, clinical competency, communication skills, professional conduct and organizationalcompatibility will be assessed during probation.
Initial Contract:
1 year
Notice Period:
2 months
Either party will be required to provide two months' notice for termination/resignation after confirmation,subject to the terms of the employment agreement.
Second-Year Compensation:
10% escalation on fixed compensation upon renewal, subject to satisfactoryperformance.

Experience with high-slice CTsystems and advanced CT applications. 5. Mammography reporting experience. 6. Previous involvement inCMEs, multidisciplinary meetings or academic activities.
