Overview

This is a hands-on role in our reinsurance operations team. You’ll help with accounting, settlement, premium processing and claims support. You’ll work with clients, reinsurers, brokers and internal teams. You’ll also help make sure records are accurate, work is timely and processes are followed. You’ll join a global team, so you’ll need to work well across shifts and with people in different locations. We’ll support your learning and development as you build your career. How you'll make an impact How You’ll Make an Impact You’ll support accounting and settlement work with care and accuracy. You’ll help with reconciliation, cash review and account recording. You’ll be a key contact for client and reinsurer settlement queries. You’ll support premium and pro rata processing end to end. You’ll help prepare cover notes, debit notes, endorsements and payment summaries. You’ll work on treaty and premium setups, UMRs and periodic accounts.



You’ll help manage claims for straightforward to medium complexity cases. You’ll follow up on claims from first advice through to agreement and settlement. You’ll work closely with colleagues to resolve queries and keep work moving. You’ll help us stay compliant with Gallagher Re processes, regulations and Group policies. About You You have, or are building, an understanding of accounting and insurance or reinsurance concepts. You’re confident using MS Office. You write and speak clearly. You stay organised and can manage detail well. You work well in a fast-moving team. You’re comfortable working across shifts and with people from different cultures and time zones.
