Hiring: Subject Matter Expert – Lead Audiologist & Speech Language Pathologist (Contractual)

Project: TN RIGHTS Project (World Bank Supported)

/n

Department: Commissionerate for Welfare of Differently Abled, Govt. of Tamil Nadu

/n

Location: Tamil Nadu (multi-district travel)

/n

Duration: Minimum 2 Years (extendable based on performance)

/n

Salary: Up to ₹1,25,000/month + TA/DA as per norms

/n

/n

Key Responsibilities:

/n

/n

- Develop audiology & speech-language pathology training modules, manuals, videos, case studies, and digital tools.

/n

- Conduct Training Needs Assessment (TNA) and design evidence-based communication rehabilitation modules.

/n

- Field test modules, ensure quality standards, and validate content with experts.

/n

- Identify, train, and mentor master trainers (ToT) across Tamil Nadu.

/n

- Conduct trainings for therapists, home care providers, and families.

/n

- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, monitoring, and quality assurance support.

/n





- Document best practices, reports, and knowledge transfer packages.

/n

Essential Qualifications:

/n

/n

- Master’s Degree in Audiology / Speech-Language Pathology (UGC recognized).

/n

- Valid RCI registration.

/n

- Minimum 8 years clinical experience in hearing & communication disorders.

/n

- Experience in training, curriculum/module development, and capacity building.

/n

- Knowledge of hearing aids, AAC, speech therapy, and disability rehabilitation.

/n

/n

/n

Preferred:

/n

/n

- PhD / 12+ years experience.

/n

- Government or development sector project experience.

/n

- Publications, international certifications, Tamil language knowledge preferred.

/n

/n
