VP – Technology Operations (Cyber Security/ SOC)

Location: Remote | Experience: 10–15+ years | Reports to: COO

This is not a salaried position. This is an Independent Contractor engagement, compensated entirely on a commission basis tied to sales generated by the resources you hire, train and perform task under your supervision. There is no fixed monthly salary, retainer, or guaranteed minimum payout.

Compensation is variable and directly proportional to the sales output of the interns/resources you hire, manage and oversee their day-to-day task. This role is best suited for confident, self-driven professionals comfortable with outcome-based pay.

Interns/resources hired and managed by you will work on our internal product operations and sales team will try to convert the product to sales.

You get commission only if the sales is generated by the company. commission can be only given if sales is generated by the company through the product worked by the interns/resources you hired,

This is not regular commission on number of task performed or hours spent. This is commission based on sales generated by the company through the resources hired and perform task under your supervision

Commission will only be possible if the resources hired/managed by you successfully perform their work and successful sales happens as a output . if the operations don't convert as a sales then no commission

About the Role





We're looking for a senior cybersecurity leader to own our entire SOC/Cyber vertical's interview and technical evaluation operations — overseeing Interview Team Leads, Cluster/Pod Leads, and a large team of technical interviewers assessing SOC candidates at scale.

What you'll own

- Full ownership of interview quality, technical assessment frameworks, and scorecard consistency for the Cyber/SOC vertical
- Managing the Vertical Interview Team Lead, Cluster/Pod Leads, and the broader interviewer team under this vertical
- Designing and continuously refining technical assessment rubrics — threat detection, incident response, SIEM tools, network security, vulnerability management
- Ensuring interview throughput targets are met without compromising assessment quality
- Reporting technical operations health and interview metrics to the COO

What we're looking for

- 10–15+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience — SOC operations, threat detection, incident response, or related domains
- Proven experience managing large technical teams (100+), including hiring, training, and performance management of technical interviewers/analysts
- Deep, current knowledge of cybersecurity tools, frameworks, and certifications (CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent)
- Strong track record designing structured, defensible technical assessment processes
- Comfortable operating independently of sales/revenue functions, with accountability tied purely to technical operations quality
