About the RoleWe are looking for a Junior Admissions Counsellor to support our Counselling team at the VFS Global Academy, Dehradun. This is an entry-level role focused on lead follow-up, meeting scheduling, and record-keeping, with on-the-job training and mentorship to help you grow into a full counselling consultant role over time.Key Responsibilities:Follow up with prospective student leads through calls and emailsSchedule client meetings for the senior counsellorSit in on meetings, take notes and maintain records of each interactionMaintain and update online records of enquiries, follow-ups, and enrollmentsSupport the senior counsellor with day-to-day administrative and operational tasksLearn the fundamentals of student counselling through shadowing and on-the-job trainingWhat We're Looking For:Minimum qualification: Graduate, any disciplineLocation Requirements: Dehradun, in-personLanguage Requirements: Fluency in both Hindi and English (knowledge of more languages is a plus)Comfortable making calls and writing qualified emailsSelf motivated and takes initiativeStrong computer literacy (spreadsheets, email, online record-keeping)Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to follow through on tasksGood communication skills and a willingness to learnGenuine interest in eventually moving into a senior academic counselling roleWhat You'll GetHands-on training and mentorship from an experienced counsellorA clear growth path toward a full counselling roleThe experience of working with a large multinational brand in the education sector, in Dehradun,
