SUMMARY:

The Price Analyst is responsible for determining competitive pricing strategies to win new business and achieve revenue goals. The Price Analyst will analyze data from multiple sources, use complex pricing models, and collaborate with sales and marketing teams to implement sales strategies.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Must possess sound knowledge of quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods and experience. Possess the ability to translate pricing data into actionable profit-enhancing strategies.

● Assess data from a variety of sources to gain insights into pricing strategies and market trends.

● Analyze competitor pricing and market trends to increase market share and profitability.

● Track contract information to develop effective pricing strategies for products and offerings.

● Apply statistical modeling methods to determine the potential impact of pricing strategies on profitability.

● Recommend pricing strategies that align closely with competitive market trends.

● Develop and implement competitive pricing strategies.

● Prepare and present pricing analysis and recommendations to executives, marketing teams, and sales staff.

● Keep informed of industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to pricing and pricing analysis methods and industry trends.

● Collect and analyze data on competitor pricing, market trends, and customer behavior to support pricing decisions.

● Develop and maintain historical pricing models and tools to support pricing decisions.

● Analyze the impact of pricing changes on sales and revenue.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:

The Price Analyst is supervised by a Senior Member of the Business Development team for assignment, guidance, evaluation, and problem solving.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

● Bachelor's degree in business, economics, supply chain or a related field.

● 2-5 years of experience in pricing analysis or a related field.

● Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools.

● Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

● Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

● Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

● Strong knowledge of Excel and other data analysis tools.

● Experience working with cross-functional teams.

● Understanding of pricing strategies, including value-based pricing and price elasticity.

● Knowledge of industry-specific pricing trends and best practices.

● Excellent analytical skills.

● Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

● Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software as well as accounting software.

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay: ₹1,700,000.00 - ₹1,900,000.00 per year
