- Create and maintain 3D models, assemblies, and engineering definitions of aero-engine components using Siemens NX (UG NX).
- Develop detailed designs for cast, forged, and machined engine components while ensuring compliance with design and manufacturing requirements.
- Generate and update engineering drawings, product definitions, and associated documentation in accordance with aerospace standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including stress, manufacturing, quality, and project engineering teams to support product development activities.
- Support design reviews, configuration management, change implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the product lifecycle.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering,
or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in aero-engine design and development using Siemens NX (UG NX).
- Solid expertise in 3D modelling, assembly creation, drafting, and product definition activities for aerospace components.
- Good knowledge of manufacturing processes related to cast, forged, and machined components.
- Solid understanding and practical application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T;) principles.
- Ability to interpret engineering requirements, perform design analyses, and work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
