Job Summary :

We are looking for a responsible and patient-focused Hospital Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, ensuring proper medication storage and handling, supporting medication safety, and providing appropriate information to patients and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities :

- Dispense prescription and hospital medications accurately and efficiently.
- Review prescriptions for appropriate dosage, drug interactions, contraindications, and potential medication errors.
- Provide medication-related information and counseling to patients when required.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of medicines dispensed, stock, and controlled medications as applicable.
- Monitor pharmacy inventory and ensure timely replenishment of medicines.
- Check medicine expiry dates, batch numbers, storage conditions, and product quality.
- Ensure medicines are stored according to recommended temperature and safety requirements.
- Follow hospital pharmacy policies,



applicable regulations, and medication-safety procedures.
- Support inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and ward medication requirements as assigned.
- Maintain proper documentation and participate in pharmacy audits and quality-improvement activities.
- Report medication-related concerns, adverse drug reactions, and dispensing errors according to hospital procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment.

Requirements :

- B.Pharm / Pharm.D from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the relevant State Pharmacy Council.
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of prescription medicines, dosage forms, drug interactions, and medication safety.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with doctors, nurses, patients, and other hospital staff.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, weekends, or emergency duties when required.
