Junior Accountant

About the Role

We are looking for a detail oriented and responsible Junior Accountant to join our Accounts & Finance team. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of basic accounting principles, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain day to day accounting records and financial entries
- Handle invoices, bills, receipts and payment related documentation
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Verify and record expenses and other financial transactions
- Maintain and update financial records using MS Excel and Google Sheets
- Coordinate with internal teams regarding payments, expenses and supporting documents
- Assist the senior accounts team with monthly closing and financial reporting
- Ensure all accounting documents and records are properly organised and maintained
- Assist with GST, TDS and other accounting related activities as required




- Support the Accounts & Finance team with day to day accounting operations
- Perform other accounts related tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

- Graduate in B.Com, M.Com or a related field
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and Google Sheets
- Knowledge of Tally will be an added advantage
- Valuable numerical and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines
- Freshers with relevant accounting knowledge are welcome to apply
