Job Summary

Responsible for managing the overall Quality Assurance function, ensuring compliance with customer and quality standards, reducing defects and customer complaints, and driving continuous improvement. The QA Manager leads quality teams, audits, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and quality improvement initiatives to achieve consistent product and process quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage overall Quality Assurance activities and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and customer requirements.
- Monitor process, product and final quality.
- Handle customer complaints, 8D and corrective actions.
- Reduce rejection, rework, scrap and customer PPM.
- Conduct internal, customer and certification audits.
- Drive RCA, CAPA, Poka-Yoke, Kaizen and PDCA.
- Monitor supplier quality and improvement actions.
- Lead and develop the QA/QC team.
- Track quality KPIs and ensure Zero Defect targets.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of Automotive Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
- Understanding of IATF 16949 and Quality Management Systems.




- Proficiency in 7 QC Tools and problem-solving methodologies.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Hands-on experience with Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge and Dial Gauge.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong knowledge of 8D, CAPA, RCA, Poka-Yoke and Kaizen.
- Positive leadership, team management and decision-making skills.
- Ability to handle customer and supplier quality issues.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.

Educational Qualification:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or any related technical field.

Experience: 12–15 years in Quality Assurance/Quality Control, preferably in the Automotive Industry.

Salary: As per the candidate's competency, experience, and qualifications.

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
