Key Responsibilities:
- Edit manuscripts for grammar, punctuation, clarity, and consistency.
- Follow client-specific style guides such as Chicago, APA, MLA, or AMA.
- Check references, citations, footnotes, figures, tables, and other manuscript elements.
- Apply style sheets and perform XML short tagging and index tagging.
- Raise author queries and ensure proper file structure and formatting.
- Edit and review content using MS Word and PDF.
- Ensure accuracy and meet project deadlines.
Required Skills: Strong English language skills, excellent editing skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Word/PDF editing.
