About the Role

We are looking for a Social Media Assistant who understands social media beyond simply posting content. You’ll help manage our social media presence, create and coordinate content, track what’s working, and stay on top of trends.

This role is ideal for someone who is creative, internet-native, and comfortable taking ownership of day-to-day social media activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in managing the company’s social media accounts across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and other relevant channels
- Create, schedule, and publish social media posts
- Write engaging captions, copy, and short-form content
- Assist with content planning and maintaining a social media calendar
- Research trending topics, formats, sounds, hashtags, and relevant industry conversations
- Support the creation of reels, carousels, graphics, and other social media content
- Monitor comments, messages, mentions, and audience engagement
- Track basic social media metrics and prepare performance updates
- Research competitors and identify content opportunities
- Coordinate with the team to turn ideas, updates, and business activities into social media content

What We're Looking For





- Strong understanding of major social media platforms and how their content formats work
- Positive writing and communication skills
- Creative mindset with an eye for what makes content engaging
- Comfortable using tools such as Canva and basic social media scheduling/analytics platforms
- Ability to spot trends and adapt them appropriately for the brand
- Basic understanding of social media analytics and performance metrics
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to experiment, learn, and take ownership

Good to Have

- Experience managing a personal, college, freelance, or professional social media account
- Basic video editing skills
- Familiarity with Instagram Reels, LinkedIn content, and short-form video
- Portfolio or examples of social media work
