About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic HR Intern to support the HR operations of our café chain with 25 outlets across Chennai. The candidate will assist in recruitment, employee coordination, attendance tracking, onboarding, and daily HR activities.
This internship is ideal for candidates who are interested in building a career in Human Resources and gaining practical experience in the hospitality industry.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in hiring and recruitment activities for café outlets
- Screen resumes and schedule interviews
- Coordinate with outlet managers regarding manpower requirements
- Maintain employee attendance and basic HR records
- Support onboarding and joining formalities
- Follow up with candidates and employees regularly
- Assist in preparing reports related to staffing and attendance
- Support HR team in daily operational activities
- Maintain employee data and documentation properly
- Coordinate with employees regarding uniforms, ID cards, and HR updates
Requirements
- Any Degree / MBA (HR) / pursuing HR-related studies
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office
- Good communication skills in Tamil and basic English
- Willingness to learn HR operations
- Solid coordination and follow-up skills
- Interest in Human Resources and Recruitment
