Job role

We are looking for a Business Operations Engineer who will support the organization across business operations, QMS, finance coordination, team performance analytics, MIS reporting, and process improvement.

The role requires an analytical and detail-oriented individual who can work with data, coordinate with multiple teams, maintain operational records, monitor KPIs, identify gaps, and support management in improving business processes.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with Excel/Google Sheets, dashboards, trackers, documentation, and cross-functional teams and should have a strong ownership mindset.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Monitor and coordinate day-to-day business and operational activities across different functions and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and action items.
- Prepare and maintain MIS reports, dashboards, trackers, and management reports related to business operations, team performance, finance, and QMS.
- Collect, consolidate, validate, and analyze data from Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, Quality, Product, and other functions to provide accurate and timely operational insights.
- Track team-wise and individual KPIs, targets, productivity, task completion, utilization, and performance against defined goals, and highlight gaps to the respective HOD/management.
- Support the management team in weekly/monthly business performance reviews by preparing data, reports, presentations, and action trackers.
- Maintain and monitor QMS documentation, SOPs, records, forms, revision history,



audit-related documents, CAPA trackers, and compliance records in coordination with the Quality team.
- Support preparation for internal and external audits by coordinating required documents, records, evidence, and action-item follow-ups.
- Track QMS observations, CAPAs, corrective actions, and compliance activities and follow up with responsible team members for timely closure.
- Prepare Quotations/PIs /Invoices and coordinate with the stakeholders for invoices, payments, receivables, expenses, vendor/customer records, reconciliations, and other business-related financial trackers.
- Maintain accurate business and finance-related data and identify discrepancies or missing information for correction.
- Monitor operational expenses, pending payments, receivables, and other assigned financial/business metrics and provide regular updates.
- Identify process gaps, delays, duplication, inefficiencies, and operational risks and coordinate with concerned teams for resolution.
- Develop and improve Excel/Google Sheets-based trackers, dashboards, and reporting systems to improve visibility and accountability.
- Support process automation and digitization of repetitive operational and reporting activities.
- Maintain action trackers from management/HOD meetings and follow up with respective owners until closure.




- Coordinate with different departments to ensure timely completion of cross-functional activities and escalate critical delays.
- Support management in data-driven decision-making by providing accurate analysis, trends, and operational insights.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of business, employee, financial, customer, and operational information.
- Perform other business operations and analytical activities assigned by management.

Must have skills

MS Office MIS and dashboard preparation Basic understanding of business operations and process management Basic understanding of QMS and ISO standards is preferred Basic understanding of finance, invoices, payments, and reconciliation Strong numerical and analytical ability Attention to detail and data accuracy Structured problem-solving approach

Qualifications

- 0–2 years of experience in Business Operations, Business Analysis, Operations, MIS, Quality, Finance Operations, or a similar role.
- B.E./B.Tech candidates preferred, especially candidates with an analytical or engineering mindset.
- Freshers with robust Excel, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills may also be considered.
- Candidates who demonstrate career stability, ownership, attention to detail, and willingness to work across functions will be preferred.
