- Run and regulate STP units, including bar screens, aeration tanks, secondary clarifiers, and filtration systems.
- Manage and adjust chemical feeds (such as chlorine, coagulants, or anti-scalants) for disinfection and pH correction.
- Inspect and service pumps, blowers, motors, and valves; perform routine backwashing of filters.
- Collect water samples and test parameters like pH, COD, BOD, TDS, and MLSS levels.
- Maintain daily shift logs, tracking flow meters, power consumption, and chemical stock.
- Adhere to hazardous waste protocols, industrial safety guidelines, and use required PPE.
- Education: ITI, Diploma in Chemical/Mechanical/Environmental Engineering, or B.Sc. in Chemistry.
- Experience: 1 to 5 years of hands-on experience operating wastewater or sewage systems,



preferably in an industrial setting.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of biological and physical wastewater treatment processes and basic troubleshooting.
