Job Summary
looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in SPM, Industrial Automation, or Machine Design. The candidate will be responsible for designing machine components, preparing manufacturing and assembly drawings, creating BOMs, and supporting production and assembly activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Special Purpose Machines (SPM), automation machines, and machine components.
- Prepare detailed 2D manufacturing drawings and assembly drawings.
- Develop machine layouts and perform basic design calculations.
- Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Modify existing designs based on customer requirements and production feedback.
- Coordinate with Production, Assembly, and Manufacturing teams to resolve design issues.
- Ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and easy to manufacture and assemble.
- Work with pneumatic and hydraulic systems as required.
- Support production during machine manufacturing, assembly, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure drawings and designs meet required quality and manufacturing standards.
Required Skills
- Robust knowledge of Mechanical Design and Machine Design.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Good knowledge of manufacturing and assembly drawings.
- Experience in BOM preparation and documentation.
- Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Knowledge of machining, fabrication, and assembly processes.
- Good problem-solving and coordination skills.
- Ability to understand customer and production requirements.
