Assistant Manager – Biomedical Engineering

Job Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise biomedical equipment and engineering operations.
- Plan and coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance of medical equipment.
- Ensure timely servicing, calibration, and AMC/CMC of biomedical equipment.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for equipment maintenance.
- Maintain equipment records, service reports, and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with hospital safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Support procurement, installation, commissioning, and validation of recent medical equipment.
- Lead and guide the biomedical engineering team.
- Monitor equipment performance and minimize downtime.





Requirements

- Degree/Diploma in Biomedical Engineering or relevant qualification.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in hospital/healthcare biomedical engineering.
- Strong knowledge of medical equipment maintenance and hospital operations.
- Good vendor management and team-handling skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
