SENIOR DESIGN ENGINEER – JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Design Engineer to lead and execute the design and engineering activities for Water & Wastewater Treatment projects including ETP, STP, WTP, RO and related treatment systems. The candidate will be responsible for process design, equipment selection, engineering drawings, technical documentation and coordination with project, procurement and execution teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and review process and mechanical designs for ETP, STP, WTP, RO and wastewater treatment plants.
- Develop PFD, P&ID;, equipment layouts, GA drawings and engineering drawings.
- Perform process calculations, equipment sizing and hydraulic calculations.
- Select suitable pumps, blowers, tanks, filters, membranes and other treatment equipment.
- Prepare equipment specifications, datasheets, BOQ and technical documents.
- Review vendor drawings and technical offers.
- Coordinate with Project, Procurement, Electrical, Instrumentation and O&M; teams.
- Provide technical support during fabrication, installation and commissioning.
- Identify design issues and provide practical engineering solutions.
- Ensure designs comply with project specifications, applicable standards and client requirements.




- Review and guide junior design engineers and technicians.
- Attend client discussions and technical meetings when required.
- Ensure timely completion of engineering deliverables.

Required Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil / Mechanical / Chemical / Environmental Engineering or relevant discipline.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in water and wastewater treatment plant design.
- Strong knowledge of ETP, STP, WTP, RO and process equipment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD ,SOLIDWORKS ,CATIA and engineering documentation.
- Knowledge of MS Office and design calculation tools.
- Good understanding of P&ID;, process flow diagrams and equipment selection.
