Job Title: Lab Technician

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Lab Technician to perform laboratory tests, handle samples, operate laboratory equipment, and maintain accurate test records. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and timely processing of laboratory investigations while following safety and infection control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collect, receive, label, and process patient samples accurately
- Perform routine laboratory tests as per standard procedures
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
- Prepare reagents, solutions, and laboratory materials as required
- Ensure proper identification and handling of patient samples
- Record and maintain accurate laboratory test results and reports
- Follow quality control and laboratory safety procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the laboratory area
- Dispose of biomedical waste according to hospital protocols
- Assist doctors and laboratory staff with required investigations




- Report any abnormal or critical findings to the concerned personnel
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and laboratory results
- Ensure proper stock management of reagents, consumables, and other laboratory supplies

Qualifications:

- DMLT / B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology (B.Sc. MLT) or equivalent qualification
- Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures, medical terminology, and laboratory equipment
- Knowledge of infection control and biomedical waste management

Experience:

- 0–2 years preferred
- Freshers may also be considered based on skills and qualification

Salary:

- ₹15,000 – ₹18,000 per month (based on experience)

- In person (Kovur, Chennai)

- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required
