We are seeking a qualified and experienced Site Engineer to join our team and take responsibility for the effective supervision and execution of a government building construction project at Kalamassery, Ernakulam.

The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of building construction, excellent site coordination skills, and the ability to ensure that project activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, , quality standards, and project schedules.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day construction activities at the project site.
- Ensure all construction works are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and applicable government standards.
- Supervise RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, finishing, and other civil works.
- Review structural and architectural drawings and coordinate with consultants for technical clarifications whenever required.
- Coordinate effectively with government departments, engineers, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, supervisors, and site staff.
- Monitor work progress, manpower, materials, equipment, and other resources to ensure efficient project execution.
- Conduct and verify site measurements, quantities, levels, and workmanship.
- Prepare and maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPRs), site records, measurements, and other project documentation.
- Assist in the preparation and verification of estimates, BOQ, Bar Bending Schedules (BBS), measurements, and contractor bills.




- Monitor and maintain required quality standards throughout the construction process.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety requirements at the project site.
- Identify technical and construction-related issues and coordinate with senior engineers, consultants, and contractors to implement timely solutions.
- Monitor project progress against the approved schedule and support timely completion of project activities.
- Coordinate site inspections and ensure necessary compliance with government project procedures and requirements.
- Maintain proper communication and coordination between all project stakeholders.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSEducational Qualification

- Diploma / B.Tech in Civil Engineering

Professional Experience

- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in building construction and/or government projects.

Technical Knowledge

The candidate should have good practical knowledge of:

- Building construction and site execution
- RCC and reinforcement works
- Masonry and plastering
- Flooring and finishing works
- Structural and architectural drawings
- Site measurements and quantity calculations
- BOQ and quantity estimation
- Contractor measurements and billing
- Construction quality control
- Site documentation and reporting

Knowledge of government construction procedures, measurements, documentation, and billing processes will be an added advantage.
