- Neurology Technician Responsibilities & Duties
- Conduct routine neurological tests and assessments, such as electroencephalograms (EEGs) and electromyograms (EMGs)
- Prepare patients for neurological procedures, explain the process and answer any questions they may have
- Record and report test results accurately and promptly
- Assist with the maintenance and calibration of neurological equipment
- Maintain patient confidentiality and protect sensitive patient information
- Collaborate with the neurology team, including physicians and nurse practitioners, to provide the best possible patient care
- Continuously stay current with the latest advancements in neurological technology and techniques
