- Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Textile Technology, Textile Engineering, or related field.
- Additional certifications in weaving technology will be an advantage.
Experience
- 5 to 10 years of experience in a weaving department.
- Mandatory experience in Toyota Airjet Looms.
- Experience handling multiple Airjet looms and weaving personnel.
- Exposure to fabric quality improvement and productivity enhancement initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Management
- Monitor daily loom shed operations and ensure achievement of production targets.
- Optimize machine efficiency, loom utilization, and fabric output.
- Ensure adherence to production plans and delivery schedules.
- Analyze production losses and implement corrective actions.
Loom Operations
- Supervise Toyota Airjet Loom operations and ensure smooth functioning of machines.
- Monitor loom performance, RPM, efficiency, stoppages, and downtime.
- Ensure proper style changes, machine settings, and fabric specifications.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
Quality Control
- Ensure production of fabric as per customer and quality standards.
- Monitor fabric defects and implement corrective actions to reduce rejection rates.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance teams for quality inspections and improvements.
- Maintain quality records and reports.
Manpower Management
- Supervise Weavers, Fitters, Helpers, Knotters, and Operators.
- Allocate manpower effectively across shifts.
- Conduct on-the-job training for workers and operators.
- Monitor attendance, discipline, and productivity of the workforce.
Maintenance Coordination
- Coordinate with Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance teams.
- Ensure timely preventive maintenance of Toyota Airjet Looms.
- Minimize machine breakdowns through proactive monitoring.
- Follow up on spare parts availability and machine upkeep.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Maintain housekeeping and 5S practices in the loom shed.
- Promote safe working practices among employees.
- Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
