Akarvi Labs is an applied AI and software studio in Pune, and a DPIIT-recognised, MCA-registered startup. We build production software for clients and run the Classic ecosystem of career platforms (classicjobs.in, classicprofile.com).

This is one role that combines three: video editor, content strategist and social media manager. You will work directly with the founder from the Founder's Office in Hinjawadi, Pune, and own video and social end to end. You will not be handed a brief and told to execute it. You decide what we make, make it, publish it, and read the numbers afterwards.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Edit short-form video for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn: hooks, cuts, captions, subtitles and sound design, at a steady weekly volume.
- Own the content calendar end to end: plan, script, shoot, edit, publish, and repurpose one shoot across every platform.
- Run trend and competitor research on YouTube and Instagram, and turn what is working into repeatable formats for our channels.
- Write the words: hooks, captions, titles, thumbnails, descriptions and short scripts that sound like us.
- Manage day-to-day social media: scheduling, replies, comments and DMs, coordinating with the founder on what ships.
- Design thumbnails, covers and simple motion graphics in Canva or Figma.
- Report weekly on views, retention, saves, shares, CTR and follower growth, and say what to double down on and what to kill.
- Produce launch and campaign content for the Classic ecosystem platforms, including creator outreach where needed.
- Use AI tools daily (ChatGPT, Claude, Descript, ElevenLabs and similar) to move faster without dropping quality.





WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- A portfolio or reel of short-form videos you edited yourself. Share the link with your application. We look at the reel before the resume.
- Hands-on with at least one editing tool: Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut, plus Canva or Figma for graphics.
- Strong written English. You will write hooks, captions and scripts every day.
- An eye for what performs on YouTube and Instagram, and the discipline to publish consistently rather than perfectly.
- Comfortable on camera, or willing to learn. You may direct or appear in shoots.
- Comfortable using AI tools for real production work.
- Open to all: students, recent graduates and career switchers, any degree. We care about your reel, not your marks.

STIPEND AND THE PATH TO FULL TIME

For Freshers Rs 6,500 per month for the 3-month programme. At the end of it, full-time conversion is evaluated on your performance and the targets you hit. On conversion, the full-time role carries a CTC of Rs 2,01,672 per year, the same package our tech track converts at. Conversion is performance-based and is never automatic.

LOCATION

Founder's Office, Hinjawadi, Pune. This is a fully in-person role, work from office. If you are not in Pune already, you must be able to relocate before joining.
