We are looking for a PLC Operator to monitor and operate PLC-controlled systems in an industrial manufacturing plant. The candidate will be responsible for operating PLC/HMI/SCADA systems, monitoring process parameters, responding to alarms, maintaining shift documentation, and supporting troubleshooting activities to ensure smooth and safe plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor PLC-controlled industrial plant equipment.
- Monitor HMI/SCADA screens, process parameters, alarms, and equipment status.
- Acknowledge and respond to PLC alarms, interlocks, and emergency conditions.
- Monitor and record plant operating parameters and process data.
- Perform basic PLC troubleshooting and identify abnormalities in system operation.
- Identify whether equipment issues are related to electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, or process-related causes and coordinate with the respective teams.
- Monitor and operate equipment such as conveyors, shredders, grinders, pumps, dryers, vacuum systems, and other plant machinery.
- Have a basic understanding of motors, contactors, MCCs, VFDs, sensors, and electrical control panels.
- Follow LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), PPE, electrical safety, machine safety, and emergency-stop procedures.
- Maintain accurate shift logs, production reports, alarm/event records, and shift handover reports.
- Coordinate with maintenance and production teams during equipment breakdowns and operational issues.
- Ensure proper communication during shift handovers regarding equipment status, alarms, breakdowns, and pending activities.




- Perform basic data entry and maintain operational records using MS Excel/Word.
- Follow all company safety, operational, and EHS procedures.

Required Skills & Knowledge

- Basic to intermediate knowledge of PLC operation.
- Understanding of PLC alarms, I/O, interlocks, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to operate HMI/SCADA systems.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and industrial control panels.
- Understanding of industrial processes and material-handling equipment.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-identification skills.
- Knowledge of LOTO, PPE, emergency-stop procedures, electrical safety, and machine safety.
- Basic computer skills, particularly MS Excel, MS Word, and data entry.
- Good communication and shift handover skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a 24/7 industrial/shift-based environment.

Educational Qualification

Diploma in any of the following:

- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Electronics Engineering
- Instrumentation Engineering
- Automation Engineering

Experience

- 3–5 years of relevant experience in a PLC-controlled industrial plant.
- Experience in manufacturing, process plants, or industrial operations will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with hands-on experience in PLC-controlled plant operations, HMI/SCADA monitoring, industrial equipment operation, alarm handling, and basic troubleshooting will be preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
