Job Overview

ExpertPro Engineers Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled Bathymetric Surveyor to conduct hydrographic and underwater surveys for rivers, lakes, reservoirs, ports, coastal areas, bridges, dams, and other water infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct bathymetric and hydrographic surveys using Single Beam and/or Multibeam Echo Sounders.
- Operate DGPS/GNSS and RTK equipment for accurate positioning.
- Plan and execute survey lines and data-collection activities.
- Collect accurate depth, position, and elevation data.
- Perform river, lake, reservoir, canal, port, and coastal surveys.
- Establish survey control points and benchmarks where required.
- Process and clean bathymetric survey data.
- Generate bathymetric maps, depth contours, Digital Terrain Models (DTM), and cross-sections.
- Prepare survey drawings, profiles, volume calculations, and reports.
- Integrate DGPS/RTK, echo sounder, and other survey equipment.
- Conduct equipment checks and ensure accurate field measurements.
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, boat operators, and site teams.
- Maintain proper field records, logs, and survey documentation.
- Travel to project locations as required.

Requirements

- Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying,



Geomatics, Hydrography, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant surveying experience preferred.
- Practical experience with DGPS/GNSS, RTK, and Echo Sounders.
- Knowledge of Single Beam or Multibeam Bathymetric Surveying.
- Experience with hydrographic/bathymetric data-processing software.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, QGIS, Civil 3D, or similar software is an advantage.
- Good understanding of coordinates, levels, depth measurements, and survey control.
- Willingness to work at rivers, reservoirs, lakes, ports, and other water bodies.
- Willingness to travel to project sites.

Salary

₹30,000 – ₹35000 per month, depending on experience and technical skills.

Site/travel allowance may be provided as per project requirements.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be technically strong, safety-conscious, and capable of independently handling bathymetric field data collection, positioning, data processing, mapping, and reporting.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
