Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager to manage and expand our sales operations across Pune. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in FMCG sales, distributor management, team handling, and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for the assigned area.
- Develop and manage distributors, dealers, and retail outlets.
- Lead, motivate, and monitor the sales team to achieve business objectives.
- Plan and execute market visits, sales strategies, and promotional activities.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market coverage.
- Monitor secondary sales, distribution, outlet coverage, and product availability.
- Maintain strong relationships with distributors and key customers.
- Track competitor activities, market trends, and pricing.
- Prepare regular sales reports and submit them to management.




- Ensure timely collection of payments and control outstanding dues.
- Train and guide the sales team to improve productivity and performance.

Requirements

- 4–7 years of relevant FMCG sales experience.
- Experience in distributor and retail market handling is preferred.
- Strong team management and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of the Pune market and surrounding areas.
- Target-oriented with strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
- Candidates from FMCG, confectionery, food, beverages, bakery, or related industries will be preferred.
