Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Jr. Quality Engineer to support our Quality Department in maintaining product quality, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and identifying and resolving quality-related issues in the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform inspection of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records, and documentation.
- Conduct dimensional inspection using measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.
- Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure products are manufactured as per drawings and specifications.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and basic GD&T.;
- Identify quality defects and coordinate with Production for corrective actions.
- Support root cause analysis of quality issues and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Assist in maintaining quality standards and procedures as per company requirements.
- Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
- Maintain calibration records of measuring and testing instruments.
- Support internal quality audits and maintain necessary documentation.
- Prepare NCRs and assist in closure of quality-related issues.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, and other departments for quality-related activities.




- Ensure proper identification and segregation of rejected/non-conforming materials.
- Follow company safety, quality, and environmental procedures.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of quality inspection processes.
- Basic knowledge of engineering drawings and dimensional tolerances.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments and inspection techniques.
- Basic understanding of 5S, Kaizen, 7 QC Tools, CAPA, and Root Cause Analysis will be preferred.
- Positive analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

Qualification

Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.

ITI candidates with relevant quality inspection experience may also be considered.

Preferred Candidate

- Freshers with relevant technical knowledge can apply.
- Candidates having 0–2 years of experience in manufacturing, fabrication, engineering, machine shop, or quality inspection will be preferred.
- Candidates should be willing to work on the shop floor and coordinate closely with the Production team.

- Effective coordination with Production for corrective actions.

Reporting To: Quality Manager / Quality Head

Pay: ₹15,500.00 - ₹19,000.00 per month
