Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Pricing & Operations professional with 5+ years of relevant experience in Project Logistics / Project Cargo.

The candidate must have hands-on experience in pricing as well as operations of project cargo shipments, especially Over-Dimensional (OD/ODC), Out-of-Gauge (OOG/OG), Break Bulk (BB), and Open Top (OT) cargo.

Important: Candidates with only General Logistics or standard freight-forwarding experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle pricing and operations for Project Logistics / Project Cargo shipments.
- Prepare quotations and cost sheets for ODC, OOG, Break Bulk and Open Top cargo.
- Obtain and negotiate rates from shipping lines, transporters, NVOCCs, ports, terminals and other vendors.
- Understand cargo dimensions, weight, volume and handling requirements to develop suitable transportation solutions.
- Coordinate end-to-end movement of project cargo from origin to destination.
- Arrange specialized transportation such as heavy-haul and multi-axle trailers as required.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, transporters, customs brokers, ports, terminals, surveyors and other service providers.
- Coordinate route surveys, permits, escorts and other requirements for ODC movements.
- Monitor vessel schedules, cargo readiness, loading, transportation and delivery.
- Coordinate loading, unloading, lifting,



lashing and securing of project cargo.
- Track shipments and provide regular updates to customers.
- Resolve operational issues and ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain project costing, quotations and operational documentation.
- Coordinate with internal teams, overseas offices, agents and customers.
- Ensure competitive pricing while maintaining required margins.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of relevant experience in Project Logistics / Project Cargo.
- Solid experience in both Pricing and Operations.
- Hands-on experience with ODC / OOG / Break Bulk / Open Top cargo.
- Experience in specialized transportation and heavy-haulage operations.
- Good knowledge of ocean freight and inland transportation.
- Strong vendor and transporter negotiation skills.
- Experience in preparing quotations and project cargo cost sheets.
- Good communication, coordination and negotiation skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple project shipments and meet deadlines.

Education

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
