Position Title: Plant Maintenance Manager

Department: Maintenance

Reports To: Vice President – Manufacturing & Operations

Job Summary:

The Plant Maintenance Manager oversees the preventive, corrective, and predictive

maintenance of plant machinery and equipment used in genset and acoustic enclosure

manufacturing. The incumbent will ensure maximum equipment uptime, cost-effective

maintenance strategies, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintenance Strategy & Planning

 Develop and implement a preventive and predictive maintenance schedule for plant

equipment.

 Ensure timely breakdown maintenance to minimize production disruptions.

 Optimize maintenance costs, spare parts inventory, and equipment lifecycle

management.

2. Equipment & Asset Management

 Oversee the maintenance of fabrication machinery, welding units, DG sets,

compressors, CNC machines, and acoustic testing equipment.

 Maintain an asset register for all plant machinery and utilities.

 Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions for recurring equipment

failures.

3. Team Leadership & Coordination

 Lead a team of maintenance engineers, technicians, and electricians.

 Assign daily maintenance tasks and ensure effective resource utilization.

 Coordinate with production, quality, and safety teams to align maintenance

activities.

4. Compliance & Safety Management





 Ensure adherence to safety protocols, ISO standards, and regulatory compliance.

 Conduct risk assessments and audits for plant machinery and utilities.

 Implement energy-saving initiatives and monitor environmental compliance.

5. Reporting & Continuous Improvement

 Track KPIs such as MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and MTTR (Mean Time To

Repair).

 Prepare maintenance cost reports, downtime analysis, and efficiency improvement

plans.

 Drive continuous improvement initiatives (TPM, Kaizen, 5S, etc.) to enhance plant

reliability.

Location: Bengaluru

Key Requirements:

 Bachelor’s BE/B. Tech in Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.

 15+ years of experience in maintenance management in a manufacturing

environment.

 Hands-on experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

 Strong knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).

 Expertise in troubleshooting industrial machinery, automation, and power systems.

Preferred Skills:

 Experience in genset, acoustic enclosure, or heavy engineering industries.

 Familiarity with PLC, SCADA, and IoT-based predictive maintenance.

 Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.

Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹95,000.00 per month
